There are two ways for spying in the game:
1. Spying with Vehicles
You should know:
• If you spy with more than one vehicle, the report will not show more information.
• The report results can only be changed by the spying technology of both spy and scouted.
• The spy report is only delivered when the vehicle arrives to the base. Then it is shown in the section “Espiar”.
For a better understanding of the vehicle spying system, here is shown a set of images for your help.
The heading includes:
• The adress of the scouted player
• Player’s nickname
• Spying time and date
As you see, multiple notations are shown in the report:
• V – Means this is a vehicle spying report
• I – Means the player's status is inactive
• R – Shows the resources that were found in the scouted region. This does not include:
o Resources in the bunker, wich can not be stolen
o Resources in the hangar, that can be stolen
• O – Shows the numer of vehicles that the spied player currently has on his region
Now let’s analyze the reports.
Image 1 – We know that the player does not have any vehicles or tower in is colony at the moment.
Image 2 – We know that the player has the indicated units in is region.
Take a close look to the third image. If you notice, the “O” is not shown in the report so, we can not know if he has any units in the region. This usually happens because my spying technology level is below or even to the scouted player’s technology.
So, how can we see the relying units in the report?
Our spying technology level must be superior to the scouted player level.
And if I send more than one vehicle in the spying mission?
As it was told before, it makes no difference to send more than one spy vehicle. The difference is made between the scout and scouted players spying technology.
Aside from the last 3 reports, we also might see this one:
This indicates that the difference between my spying technology level and the spied player’s one is above 3. It also indicates that he has some units in the colony and so, my vehicle was detected and destroyed.
Concluding, in order to be able to see all units in the player’s region, we need to have a superior technology level than his.
2. Spying with Spaceships (Espionage Probes)
There are 3 important things, that influences the probe’s report:
• The number of probes
• Spying technology
• Communications technology
After arriving to the target colony, the probes send immediately their report to the scout’s planet.
Here is a complete report sent by an espionage probe:
In this report we have the following notations:
Resources, Hangar, Armory, Edifícios (portuguese word for “buildings”), Technologies, X – Hidden
Hidden section highlights from the other, because it requires a spying level above the one from the enemy and 5 espionage probes to be seen. This section shows the number of anti-fleet mines and refreshes the resources section, allowing this to show the resources that the scouted player has in it’s hangar and armory. When this happens, the R turns orange.
FAQ:
How can we see if the player has towers/vehicles?
Espionage probes can not scout for any vehicles or towers! We must you an espionage vehicle in order to know that.
What is that percentage that appears in the heading of a report?
That value represents the chances that the probes had to be found in the spying mission. It depends from the communications technology level that both players have, and also from the number of probes that were sent. When the probes are found, they can be destroyed if the defender has any ship or cannon, PEM not included, in his planet. For example, if the probability to be found is 100% but the defender does not have any cannons or ships in the planet, the probes will return unharmed!
